Price
All puppies are $850.00 - $950 depending on breeding. Male or female no matter what color. Please read the deposit requirements below. The puppy and all applicable fees must be paid in full before it is delivered or shipped to you.
All puppies will have dewclaws removed. Puppies will be wormed at two, four and six weeks of age. Puppies will receive their first round of shots when they are six weeks old. We use the Fort Dodge "Puppy Shot" which protects them from Corona Virus, Parvo, Distemper, Parainfluenza and Adenovirus. We also microchip every puppy. We use the HomeAgain chips and provide the registration papers when the pup goes home.
Hips and eyes are guaranteed for a period of thirty months. Guarantee is for replacement puppy only of equal or better breeding. If the conditions of the guarantee are invoked, you may keep the original dog if you provide proof of sterilization. Breeding the dog before 24 months of age will void the guarantee.
Deposit
We require a $250.00 deposit to hold your spot in the litter. Most of the litters are sold before they are born so reserve early.
There are three reservations for male and three for female in any given litter regardless of color. Your spot in the litter is placed in the order the deposit is received. If the puppy you reserve is not born (you reserve the number three female, but only two females are born) then you have three options:
Please note that all deposit checks are cashed. Deposits are non-refundable except as stated above. If we produce the puppy you wanted, we expect you to follow through with the purchase. Your deposit will be gladly refunded if your puppy is not produced.
Puppy Selection Policy
Selection order is the same as the order the deposits are received. If you are coming to the kennel to make your selection, you must arrive on the date and time agreed. If you are unable to arrive at your arranged time, we will make the selection for you. This is necessary in order to be fair to those making travel plans in advance. Puppies being shipped will be selected in the appropriate order based on the purchasers preferences. Puppies being picked up can leave at seven weeks of age. Puppies being shipped must be eight weeks of age per Federal Regulations.
Shipping
Puppies can be shipped by air to those who cannot pick the pup in person. We have shipped puppies as far away as Hong Kong so are familar with Domestic and International shipping and pet requirements.
For individuals within 250 miles of Missoula, the puppy can be hand delivered for a fee of $250.00. For puppies being shipped farther, we require a $100.00 fee for taking the puppy to the airport for shipment. This fee includes the cost of a shipping kennel, and Health Certificate. If the kennel is returned, $30.00 will be refunded. Actual air shipping charges are extra and your responsibility. All pertinent details concerning the flight and evidence of pre-payment of the shipping charges must be received before the puppy is shipped.
Training
Training is available for gun dogs only. The degree of training depends on your wishes and budget. We can give your dog a good start (obedience and retrieving) or completely finish the dog ( force fetch, collar conditioning, "whoa" training and hunt titles). The cost for training is $595.00 per month. This fee includes the dogs training, feed and boarding. Additional fees include veterinary charges, live birds and entry fees to hunt tests. Only game birds will be used for training. Game birds include quail, Hungarian partridge and pheasant.
